Zahaan's Wish – Granted on 06 Oct 2018
“I wish to be a robot-builder”
"My day was good, brilliant, amazing and marvellous. My wish came true through Make-A-Wish," said aspiring "robot builder" Zahaan. Despite being diagnosed with brain tumour at the age of six, Zahaan battled the illness for nine months with great determination and triumphed.
To celebrate his one-year anniversary of completing his treatment, Zahaan got the treat of his life with a day filled with robot-themed activities.
His day started with a tour of a robotics laboratory at the Institute for Media Innovation at NTU, where he got to interact with robotic creations and tried on artificial skin designed for robots.
This was followed by a Lego game session with his classmates before the day ended with a robot building class at the United World College of South East Asia.
Special thanks to World First for helping us to make this wish possible!
