Primus is a shy five-year-old who suffers from T-cell lymphoma. Our first impression of this introverted boy changed when he started to show us all his favourite toys, much to the dismay of his mother who had to clean up after. An avid fan of WWE wrestlers, his favourites ranged from The Undertaker, Marvel superheroes, Ironman and Captain America, and LEGO Ninja Warrior to name a few.

What struck us most was his passion for F1 cars which showed in his knowledge and familiarity of the names of each different racing models. It is no surprise to us that his racing idol is Fernando Alonso.

To give Primus a momentous Formula 1 experience of a lifetime, he and his parents were invited to watch the Singapore F1 Grand Prix from the Bay Grandstand. Thanks to the generosity of the Singapore Grand Prix team, Primus gained a Paddock Club access to have a meet and greet with Fernando Alonso. Immersed in the smell of burnt rubber and iconic sounds of fast cars zooming through the course, the delighted boy and his parents received nothing short of a VIP treatment whilst anticipating eagerly for the arrival of his famed idol.

Full of smiles, the friendly Alonso mingled well with his young fan, who was thrilled beyond words. The down-to-earth racer spared no efforts in being warm and hospitable to Primus and his family. With cherished memories from photos captured by his father and the valued autographed cap from Alonso, there will always be a wish moment that Primus can hold on to for years to come – that wishes do come true after all.
